Yes, Aquasonus warrants the replacement of a defective product within 90 days of the date of purchase. To do so, keep the warranty card or invoice that came with the product. The warranty card must be completed with the date of purchase of the product.

Open the cushion valve and position it in the mouth of a tap. Turn on the tap and pour enough water to fill the cushion. The internal volume of the cushion is approximately 6 liters. If in doubt about the amount of water, stand the cushion upright and pour water until it reaches half of it.

With valve still open, press cushion to remove excess air. Check the comfort. The amount of water should be sufficient so that the user does not touch the seat base. Close valve and check seal.

Open the valve and inflate enough to ensure user comfort. Do not fill with air from high pressure equipment (compressors or hospital air duct). Close valve and check seal.

Extend and stretch the hospital mattress over the bed over the regular mattress and make sure it does not fold. Pull the valve cap to open the bottleneck and rotate the cap to remove it. Place the hose end into the bottleneck and pour enough water to fill the mattress so that it is comfortable for the patient. Add one tablespoon of bleach. Close valve and check seal.

Pull the valve bottleneck and remove the cap. Place one end of the hose into the bottleneck and the other end should be connected to the faucet. Open the faucet until the hose fills with water. Turn off the tap and remove the end of the hose that was attached to the tap and quickly plug with your finger so that no air enters. Take the end of this hose below the level where the hospital mattress is and untap the hose end to release all the water.

Beware of sharp surfaces (scissors, needles, etc.) that can puncture the hospital mattress. Do not leave the hospital mattress in direct sunlight as this may damage the product causing the manufacturing material to dry out which will shorten the life of the product.

There is no difference between the mattresses. Water mattresses are best suited in warmer regions and should be avoided in colder regions, as contact with cold water can cause cold-related problems, such as pneumonia.
